Spaghetti and Mozzarella Meatballs

Serves: 5-6 People

  • Vegetable oil for greasing pan
  • 450g lean ground beef (can be replaced with chicken or lamb)
  • 1/3 cup (42g) dry bread crumbs
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese-shredded (114g)
  • 1 egg
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5-2 jars (555-740g) Salman’s Spaghetti Pasta Sauce
  • 340 grams spaghetti, cooked and drained (as per package instructions)

1. Preheat oven to 200℃ (400℉). Lightly grease a baking sheet with oil.
2. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, mozzarella cheese, salt and garlic in a medium bowl. Use your hands or an ice cream scoop to portion into 12 to 13 meatballs. Place on prepared baking sheet.
3. Bake until browned and cooked through, about 15 minutes.
4. Bring the Salman’s Spaghetti Pasta Sauce to a simmer in a 12-inch skillet. Gently place the cooked meatballs into the sauce. Simmer 10 minutes.
5. Pour some of the sauce over hot cooked pasta and gently toss to coat. Pour remaining sauce and meatballs. Serve with more sauce (as per preference).
